REC Portal Relaunch Community: First user group session and next steps

On 2 September, we hosted our first REC Portal Relaunch Community Group session, an important milestone in our journey to improve how users access and navigate portal content.

Have your say

As part of this work, we’re now running an anonymous card sort exercise to understand how users group and label information. It takes just 13–18 minutes, and your input will directly shape new portal features.

Take part in the card sort

Our digital partner

This work is being developed in partnership with Capgemini, our Digital Services Partner. Capgemini is designing the new integrated digital ecosystem behind the portal, which includes AI-powered search, robust data analytics, and a modern, streamlined interface.

What’s next

We’ll continue to work closely with the user group, the wider REC Portal Relaunch Community, and stakeholders throughout the discovery phase, which will last until October 2025. Together, we’ll deliver a portal that’s intuitive, effective, and built around your needs.

Get involved

If you’d like to get involved or stay updated, visit the REC Portal Relaunch Community page to share feedback, try prototypes, or join testing sessions.

Your contributions are invaluable in helping us build a new portal for everyone. Thank you.
