Tariff Interoperability – Phase 1a
Phase 1a is the first stage of the wider Tariff Interoperability Project. The consultation will seek feedback on proposed updates to the Phase 1a technical documents, including the API Specification, Energy Market Data Specification (EMDS), and the Standards Definition Document.
Consultation timing: Expected to launch on 27 August 2026 and remain open for three weeks.
Tariff Interoperability – Phase 1b
Phase 1b will seek views on the proposed private route to access tariff data via the Consumer Consent Solution (CCS). Stakeholders will be invited to review the end-to-end design, proposed REC Changes and key implementation considerations.
Consultation timing: Expected to launch in mid-October 2026 and remain open for six weeks.
Join the Tariff Interoperability Working Group
We’re holding an Implementation Working Group (IWG) on 17 August 2026 to support stakeholders with implementation planning.
The IWG provides an opportunity for industry to discuss the arrangements, raise questions, and help inform the detailed approach ahead of the planned November 2027 Phase 1b implementation.

Consumer Consent Solution – REC Drafting Consultation
The CCS REC Drafting Consultation will seek views on the proposed REC drafting needed to deliver the Consumer Consent Solution Minimum Marketable Product (MMP).
The consultation builds on feedback from the February 2026 CCS Design Consultation. It will set out RECCo’s response to the key themes raised and provide stakeholders with an opportunity to review the proposed REC Schedules, Technical and Data Specifications, Service Specification, and Customer Experience Guidelines.
Consultation timing: Expected in early September 2026 and will remain open for six weeks.
A supporting webinar is also planned for 29 September 2026. We’ll provide an overview of the proposals, highlight the key consultation themes, and give stakeholders an opportunity to ask questions.
Performance Assurance Reporting and Monitoring (PARC)
As part of the CCS REC Drafting Consultation, we’ll also seek views on the scope of monitoring and reporting for CCS. The detailed reporting arrangements will be developed further and consulted on separately later in 2026.
Once RECCo, the CCS Provider, and relevant Performance Assurance Service Partners have agreed the detailed requirements, a further REC Change-led consultation will cover the proposed definition of centralised CCS reporting, alongside any ‘on request’ reporting requirements for CCS users. These requirements will form part of the Performance Assurance Reporting Catalogue (PARC).
