Join us – New REC Governance and Stakeholder Advisory Forum webinar – 29 July

Join us on 29 July for a webinar exploring the new governance framework for the Retail Energy Code (REC) and the role of the Stakeholder Advisory Forum (SAF).

With Phase 1 Code Manager licence awards expected towards the end of the year, RECCo is preparing to implement the new governance framework. As part of this, we are developing proposals for the composition of the SAF and the process for appointing its members.

This webinar offers stakeholders an early opportunity to learn about the proposed arrangements, understand what they mean in practice, and prepare for the transition to the new governance model.

Why attend?

This webinar is for anyone interested in the future governance of the REC.

During the session, you’ll:

  • Gain an overview of how the new governance framework will operate
  • Understand the role and purpose of the Stakeholder Advisory Forum (SAF)
  • Learn about RECCo’s proposals for SAF membership, nominations and appointments
  • Explore the new Code Manager governance arrangements, including the transitional arrangements and what they mean for stakeholders
  • Hear about the implementation timeline, our licence grant readiness approach and next steps
  • Consider whether you or your organisation may wish to apply for a place on the SAF
