On 19 October 2026, we responded to Ofgem’s consultation on the policy rationale and proposed governance framework for the Smart Data Repository (SDR).
We support the proposed regulatory approach, while highlighting the Consumer Consent Solution’s dependence on the SDR being available on time, containing sufficient data and being reflected consistently across the relevant licences and codes.
