On 25 September 2026, we responded to the Department for Business and Trade’s consultation on competition redress, regulatory appeals and enforcement. Our response focuses on the proposed changes to regulatory appeals for energy code decisions.
We support making appeals faster and less costly, while preserving the existing timetable and ensuring appeals remain accessible to those affected. We also ask for clarity on the role and costs of Code Managers when an Ofgem decision is appealed.
