Our response to: Energy Digitalisation Governance – Architectural Coordination

On 5 December 2025, we published our response to Ofgem’s open letter on Energy Digitalisation Governance – Architectural Coordination, agreeing there’s a real need for stronger coordination where major digital programmes intersect, but cautioning against creating a new central “architecture body”. Instead, we advocated a federated, light-touch model that focuses on interoperability, shared standards, and cross-programme dependency management, with clear scopes and responsibilities across delivery bodies.
