Webinar round-up: New Change of Tenancy rules proposed for the non-domestic energy market

On the 24th of October, 2023, we hosted a webinar introducing our proposals for Change of Tenancy (CoT) rules for the non-domestic energy market. The webinar gathered feedback on our proposals to strengthen the CoT process, addressing problems that had been identified in the findings of Ofgem’s Non-Domestic Market Review, and highlighted to RECCo in workshops held earlier this year on the introduction of a Third-Party Intermediaries Code of Practice (TPI CoP).

Thank you to everyone who participated in the webinar, including each of our speakers and those who dialled in to hear and provide immediate feedback on our proposals, through comments and poll responses, which we have incorporated into an FAQ document.

We are now in the process of gathering post-event feedback, which is also open to those who were unable to attend the live webinar but have viewed the slides and/or video, as below.  This engagement is in addition to the formal REC change process, which will commence when we submit a Change Proposal.  That process will include consultation in accordance with a timetable to be approved by the REC Change Panel.

Please submit your feedback here.

The feedback form will close on the 17th of November, 2023.
