Webinar round-up: Introducing our data and digitalisation strategy

Thank you to everyone who joined us on September 26th to learn about and engage with our data and digitalisation strategy. During the webinar, we outlined how we will support secure open data, digitalisation, and the evolution of REC services, systems, and processes. If you would like to re-watch the webinar or couldn’t attend, please find an overview of the event, a copy of the presentation slides, and the webinar recording below.

What did we cover in the webinar?

We introduced our data and digitalisation strategy – a bold ambition for how we will support the energy transition for society’s benefit.  The strategy builds upon the 5Cs (consumers, climate, competition, cost, catalysing improvement) set out in our Forward Work Plan, which you can read in full here.

As part of the strategy, we covered the following topics:

  • An overview of our data and digitalisation strategy, including our vision for how we want to operate within the energy market (using microservice architecture and API Gateway).
  • The difference between data and digitalisation
  • Our principles, which we have developed to guide the implementation of our strategy.
  • The key enablers for successful implementation
