Join the Enquiry Services Stakeholder Advisory Group

The Enquiry Services (‘ES’), which include the Electricity Enquiry Service (EES), Gas Enquiry Service (GES), Secure Data Exchange Portal (SDEP), and the Green Deal Central Charge Database (GDCC), are essential tools enabling the efficient operation of the retail energy market while supporting the requirements of individual Enquiry Service users

As the initial contracts for these services are nearing their end, we are considering the long-term evolution requirements of both services. Since their launch, the demands on the Enquiry Services have changed, and new use cases have been introduced. RECCo established an Enquiry Service Evolution project in 2023, which aims to prioritise the needs of Enquiry Services users and consumers over the long term. To support the project, we developed a business case which delved into the best strategic direction for the evolution of the Enquiry services, leading up to the contract 2025 and 2027 milestones. We are establishing a Stakeholder Advisory Group

To support the Enquiry Services evolution project, we are establishing a Stakeholder Advisory Group (SAG); a group of industry stakeholders who will be able to offer guidance, diverse perspectives, and insights from experienced service users throughout the project lifecycle.

By engaging with stakeholders in this group, we aim to ensure that end-user views and needs are fully considered and integrated into our service evolution efforts.

What we’re looking for
