Design Consultation overview
We’ve launched a six-week consultation on the proposed design of the Consumer Consent Solution — a new, central framework for how consumers grant, renew, review, and revoke consent for energy data sharing across the market.
The Consumer Consent Solution will give consumers clearer control and confidence over their data, while providing market participants with a trusted, interoperable, GDPR-aligned consent mechanism. The solution will support digital and non-digital journeys and set consistent standards for consent, identity verification, and governance.
The consultation sets out proposals for the Minimum Marketable Product and invites views on technical design, governance, user experience, accessibility, and the future roadmap.
